I am enjoying the program so much!  I can't even begin to tell you!  I am very impressed with it, and had I not been in another "at-home" program previously, Education Directs' Court Reporting Course, I'm not sure that I would be able to see how good this course is.  To think I was working out of tons of books and boxes of materials before!  This is such a fine-tuned program, and the way the material is presented, for example, the order in which we learn the alphabet allows for picking up the skill so much quicker.  The way I was taught before, for some reason, did not allow me to pick it up quite as quickly as I do now.  Everything comes to me so much easier, and it all flows together so well between the physical and mental abilities required for learning this skill.

I went to (a school) in San Diego for a year and a half.  I'm now pregnant and wanted to finish school at home.  I really like the program and see myself achieving more rapid results than in school.  I was at a 120wpm plateau, but am able to shorten my strokes a great deal with this program, so thank you!

I was at 200 wpm when I transferred to CRAH ... I attended a traditional court reporting school for 7 years. It only took me 3 months with CRAH to finish my last 2 speeds. I am now working for a captioning company based in California. I caption from my home. I've been working for them for the past 6 months. I love it. Between the CART work at the colleges and with the captioning company, I have so much work offered, I have to turn a lot of it down. Everyone at CRAH is wonderful. I'm just happy I found them when I did.

I had the opportunity to go to the DRA Convention this weekend and it was WONDERFUL!!!  I am just so excited that I came home with renewed energy to practice and finish my lessons.  The people were so nice, and it was very informative.  I am writing up a little “report” on my experiences, but I just wanted to let you know that the best part of all, was when I attended the seminar that was on “tips and tricks” for the advanced realtime reporter.  I thought I would be a lost novice, but NO WAY!  I understood 95% of everything, and not only that, but CRAH is the best!!  The theory we're learning is top notch, and I was telling experienced reporters what suffixes to use!! Can you believe it??  It was just so, so awesome.  Thank you for such a wonderful course.

"I just wanted to let you know that your program has been incredibly helpful to not just those who want to learn court reporting but for us practicing court reporters out here as well.
 
I was searching for a program for my niece who I was going to attempt to "teach" court reporting and found your site on the Web.  I ordered the program immediately, and we got started.
 
I have been a practicing freelance reporter for 24 years, but I had never sat for the RPR exam before, because I didn't feel I had the necessary speed to pass the exam. 
 
I started flipping through the CDs and saw the practice CDs and the test CDs at the RPR speeds and thought it might be interesting to see just where I was speedwise.   I decided on the deadline date for registration that I would go ahead and register, and if I had time to practice for the exam, I would see if I could pass at least one leg of the exam and go from there. 
 
Of course, when you're a freelancer and a firm owner, you don't have any "practice time," so the days ticked by with no time for me to work on that project.  Then one month before the exam, I decided I would at least attempt to get ready for the exam.  I practiced by your practice CDs and test CDs for one month, at least an hour a day, and I was able to sit for the RPR exam and pass all three legs in one sitting with very, very few errors. 
 
I love your program, and I am enjoying "teaching" my niece and am now helping several practicing reporters who are interested in sitting for the RPR exam also, using the dictation material you've put together on the CDs.  We especially enjoy listening to the literary takes and your constant encouragement to the students, because we feel like we're students again as we work on improving our reporting skills.
