NCRA-approved Theory
Developed Specifically for Homestudy Students! |
Is Home Study Self-Training for You?
Can you train yourself? With help from CRAH, absolutely,
resoundingly, YES! Having been the Owner and Director of a
large NCRA-approved and SACS-accredited court reporting school
from 1990 through 1996, I have formally taught hundreds of
students. I have informally taught students during the 25
years I have been a professional court reporter. It has been
my experience that court reporting students are very confused
by the standard textbooks utilized by schools and require
a great deal of assistance from instructors. Surprisingly,
many schools employ few, if any, actual court reporters. Learning
court reporting with the CRAH self-training method is very
similar to learning to type utilizing the Mavis Beacon
Teaches Typing program, except you are learning to type on a court reporter's steno machine instead of a computer keyboard, and you have internet support! The Court Reporting at Home self-training manual is so SIMPLIFIED, your
DVD tutorial and Online Support Department is all
you need to complete your training! And, you always
have a court reporter available to answer your questions.
I taught myself the steno theory in about two months while
working as a legal secretary and then attended a non-accredited
school for three months. I have since obtained numerous credentials
which you may CLICK HERE to view.
Having taught many, many court reporters, I have designed
the Court Reporting at Home Self-Training Program over the
past six years to allow you to progress at YOUR OWN rate of
speed.
There are many reporters who are partially self-trained and others who have completely trained themselves. Wherever you are in your training, whether you are a beginner, or a professional reporter seeking continuing education to obtain your certification credentials, or perhaps a stenomask writer wishing to change to machine shorthand, or a student who has had previous training anywhere in between, CRAH's SIMPLIFIED, color-coded self-training manual, step-by-step instructional DVD tutorial, and Internet Online Support Department, can help you train for this wonderful career, too.
YES, ABSOLUTELY, if you are of average intelligence and have
good dexterity, motivation, dedication, and self-discipline
to study from home, you have the attributes necessary to learn
with the Court Reporting at Home Self-Training Program!

We are learning Court Reporting at Home.
You can, too!
CRAH materials are non-resalable and non-transferable to third parties.
